Favorite Game
My favorite game is Taboo because it has so much excitement involved in it and I don't know anyone who has played it and not enjoyed it.

what is reality?
What is reality? To me, reality is everything that we observe to be real. Reality is the condition of things as they actually exist instead of the way things may appear or may be imagined. Reality involves everything that is and has been. Before even looking up the word, “reality” in the dictionary, I thought about what it means to me. I had a hard time coming up with a good way to phrase what reality is to me, but one of the words that came to mind was truth. Dictionary.com defines reality as “the state or quality of being real;” “a real thing or fact;” “facts of existence.” Then when looking up the synonyms for reality, some of the synonyms that came up on dictionary.com were “absoluteness, actuality, authenticity, existence, truth, validity.” There are many different theories of reality because for many years, people have been trying to discover what reality is and put a definition to it. However, many people have different ideas of what reality is, which is why there are different theories. To me, reality is the state of things as the actually exist.

This is an advertisement for the car company, Jeep. Specifically, it is advertising the Jeep Wrangler. This ad uses narration to help sell the jeep. The words/phrases they choose to describe it are words that describe how strong and sturdy the car is. Also, the ad provides an illustration of the car in a very mountainous, rocky area. The illustration goes hand in hand with the narration to help portray the idea that this car is very sturdy and can drive well in rocky places (such as Arizona, as mentioned) that other cars could not. When thinking of a cowboy, most people think of them as tough and strong. Therefore, by having a cowboy sitting in the driver seat, this further depicts the idea that this a tough car and can drive on all different types of surfaces, especially rugged surfaces.

This is a picture of my sisters and I after graduation. Daisy is 9 and is pictured on the left and Faith is 13 and pictured on the right. I graduated from Charlotte Country Day School in Charlotte, NC. I moved to Charlotte from West Palm Beach, FL after I finished eighth grade so I started going to Country Day as a freshman. I am the second oldest out of six children. The oldest just turned 20 and is a sophomore at The University of South Carolina while the youngest just turned 6. There are three girls and three boys. Graduation was bittersweet because while I was excited for all the things college had in store for me, it was sad to think that my friends and I will all be going to different schools. However, most of my friends and I go to schools that are nearby each other. Also, I am only two hours away from home so I know I will be able to see them during breaks!
